Phil Clark, Theatre Director and Writer

Welcome

"I am an experienced theatre director and writer passionately concerned with making theatre accessible, necessary, enjoyable and relevant"

Phil ClarkI have thirty five years experience as a professional theatre director and writer.

My directing covers a broad spectrum of work and sectors: Theatre in Education, Young Peoples’ Theatre, Community Theatre, the subsidised Theatre sector and commercial Theatre in the UK and Internationally.

As a writer I specialise in adaptations for young and family audiences.

No longer based with one theatre I’ve spread my wings to work with the education and lifelong learning sector as an advisor and workshop leader. I also work with numerous organisations as an Arts Consultant and Enabler.
